PSAA is managed a small collective of advocates who volunteer their time to furthering and supporting the street art community in Portland and beyond. Below is a list of volunteer opportunities currently offered. Many of these projects already have connections made and initial plans formulated, so you can use our existing materials as a starting point. We are looking for self-motivated volunteers who can work both on a team and independently. We will be here to support and guide you through the process!

Project-specific Volunteer Opportunities
Assistance with organizing a public art and photography show, mural wall preparation, graphic design, and community outreach.
Assistance with conducting field research for updating an existing interactive online map of all street art in SE Portland. This includes collecting information on murals, locations, and photo documentation. Basic Excel skills required.
Canvas local businesses with blank walls, speak to business and property owners, telling them about the benefits of murals and how PSAA can help arrange for artists to paint murals.
Work in partnership with RACC to start a utility art box project in Portland. Compile research to share with RACC, including cost estimates and site location ideas.
Finalize a proposal to Portland Parks & Recreation to start a program showcasing rotating art murals on racquetball court walls in Portland’s public parks.
